Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you (the business using Auttoman) and Maple Collective Group Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation (File No. 10479299), registered at CSC, 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808, United States. By creating an account or sending us documents on WhatsApp, you agree to them.

What the service does

Auttoman turns the documents you send us — bank statements, receipts, invoices — into a cash-basis ledger, and prepares a monthly turnover-tax worksheet from it. You can send documents on WhatsApp or upload them on the website, and see the results in your dashboard.

We are not your accountant

Auttoman is software, not an accountant, and nothing it produces is tax or legal advice. Every figure we prepare is a draft for you to check. What you file with the tax authorities, and what you pay, remains entirely your responsibility — including any penalties, interest or assessments.

Concretely, that means: our turnover-tax output is a worksheet to transfer to and verify against the official government form, not a substitute for it; we do not file anything with the tax office on your behalf; and no filing is treated as final until a human has reviewed and approved it. Our documents are read by AI, which is very good and not perfect — review your ledger.

We do not process payroll, and wage tax and social premiums are outside this service.

Your account and your responsibilities

  • You must be a business (or acting for one) and at least 18 years old.
  • Give us accurate information, and keep your email account and WhatsApp number secure — anyone with access to them can sign in as you.
  • Only send us documents you are entitled to send, and tell us promptly if something in your books looks wrong.
  • Do not use the service to break the law, to misrepresent your business's finances, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Your data stays yours

You keep all rights to the documents and records you send us. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you — to store your files, process them (including with our AI provider), and show the results back to you. How that data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can export your books at any time.

WhatsApp messages

  • When you give us your WhatsApp number and agree to be messaged, we may send you your filing packs, questions about a document you sent, and reminders around the monthly filing deadline. Message frequency depends on how you use the service — typically a handful a month.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop all proactive messages, and START to resume. STOP takes precedence over everything else in the conversation.
  • Your mobile carrier's data charges are your own, and WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own terms.

Fees

Auttoman is currently provided free of charge during onboarding and early access. If we introduce a fee, we will tell you the price and give you notice before it applies to your account, and you may stop using the service instead. Fees, once introduced, are payable in advance and are not refundable for a period already elapsed unless we say otherwise in writing.

Availability

We work hard to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We depend on third parties — WhatsApp, our hosting, our AI provider — and an outage at any of them can interrupt the service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maple Collective Group Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Auttoman at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or that we are legally required to stop serving, and we will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so. Either way, you can export your books first — email us and we will help.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will update the effective date above and tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes any consumer or statutory rights you have where you live that cannot be waived by agreement.
